Detoxing With Fruit Smoothies

Hi everybody,  I am full of toxins, and chances are you are too.  Even though I eat pretty healthy, I have not been fasting to help release toxins from my body.  On top of it, I have been experiencing lots of stress in my life, which cause toxins.  I have always been so busy to be able to investigate and learn more about toxins.  I knew a little bit, however, just recently I got sick from the flu.  And I just could not get myself better.  I did everything perfect, but I stayed sick.  After 2 weeks, I started to fast with just water.  I felt myself slowly getting better.  By the third day, I still felt the sickness in me, so I continued with the fast because I knew I had to get whatever toxins were in me, out of me.  However,I had errands I had to run to hold the fort down in my home.  I am a single parent with responsibilities. 
And so, I began drinking just fruit smoothies, turning my fast into a fruit fast.  This helped to give me a little energy to get done the things I needed to get done, while at the same time releasing some toxins.  Now, fasting can be difficult to fit into a busy schedule. However, getting sick takes more time in the long run, and so, controlling the toxins in our lives is important.  

My realizing that I have a trend of being sick for a long time, each time I get sick, even though I eat pretty good, made me investigate why this was.  I studied about toxins, and what causes toxins in our bodies.  In the past, I heard that stress causes disease, but I did not really understand the concept.  Learning what causes toxins, is helping me to realize that I have lots of toxins in my body, even though I eat pretty healthy, and live a pretty healthy lifestyle.  The build up over time, from stress, has caused an over load of toxins in me.  So how am I going to deal with this?  This lead me to investigating about fasting.  I learned that fasting needs to be done in stages.  And so, I am beginning this process. 
Right now I am on day 5 of my fast, in which I began drinking smoothies on the 3rd day.  Because I am so very toxic, I have decided to continue on with a fruit fast.  I learned that this is good to do before doing a full blown fast of just water, if you are very toxic.  It feels great to be getting out the toxins, I am feeling better each day.  Being able to drink fruit smoothies is helping me to be able to keep up with life at the moment, while I plan in the future for a more intense fast.  I plan to do the fruit fast as long as I am able to maintain my weight, because I am thin.  This is my current plan, and I will keep you up dated.  Please feel free to ask me any questions, and or give me any insights and experiences you may have on the subject of toxins and fasting.  And feel free to follow me, and or join me, on my journey to become toxin free, and develop a lifestyle to move out the toxins that come in or are produced in my body, on a regular basis.  I did not realize how toxic I was, and so I am planning and implementing combat against toxins.  What a great place to be.  I have become enlightened!
