Weight Loss the Lasting & Healthy Way

Hi followers of my posts, and potential followers,

I just read a great post from another blog.  I would like to share it with you (I have it as a link at the bottom of this post).  I would like to let potential clients know that my focus for my business is not weight loss.  My focus is on your being healthy and having control over what you eat.  Personally, I was semi-bulimic for about 10 years.  I never threw up, however, I binge ate because of pain I had from a relationship break-up.  I did not know how to deal with the pain, or was even aware that the pain was there.  Luckily, as I tried to control my binge eating habits, I began to be aware that I was over eating to keep myself from feeling the pain.  I had to feel the pain to pass through it.  As I began to face the feelings, I was slowly able to gain control of my binge eating habits, and be a normal person again.  This actually took years to do.

You see, from my binge eating experience, I have learned that it is not about weight.  It is about feelings and enjoying life.  To me, when you eat healthy, exercise, seek divine help, and seek to stay healthy emotionally, you will naturally be beautiful and feel good.  I am not totally against counting calories because it will help in your being knowledgeable on the calories of food to help you to manage your weight and stay within a healthy weight for yourself, but it is not the focus.  Calorie counting comes second in line, if that is even something you want or need to do.  I want you to be feeling good about yourself, enjoying life, and accomplishing your goals.

I just want you to know that my focus for my business is for my clients to be healthy.  I know about nutrition ( I have a BS degree in Nutrition) and so I will be encouraging you and teaching you how to eat healthy.  The weight loss is a second thought.  Being healthy and being beautiful inside and out, naturally (like the name of my business) is the focus of my business.  Let me teach you how to take care of yourself physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.  I want you to be happy, and feeling and enjoying your life at your best.  Learn, grow, and share.  Amy................ What are your thoughts and experiences after reading the following post on another site?  I would love to hear and learn from my readers!
